Craving a dessert that’s equal parts indulgent and irresistible? Royers Texas Trash Pie is a candy bar in pie form, packed with gooey caramel, rich chocolate, and a satisfying crunch.
In a large bowl (at least 10 cups in size), combine the chocolate chips, caramel bits, graham cracker crumbs, coconut flakes, chopped pecans, and chopped pretzels.
Add Wet Ingredients:
Melt the butter and add it to the mixture, followed by the sweetened condensed milk.
Stir everything together until well combined.
Assemble the Pie:
Transfer the filling into the prepared pie crust, spreading it out evenly.
Bake the Pie:
Bake at 350ºF for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the pie is set and the top is lightly browned.
Cool:
Cool the pie on a wire rack. It’s delicious served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Store Leftovers:
Store any leftovers in an airtight container. The pie will stay good on the countertop for 4-5 days or in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
