Ingredients:
1 pint fresh strawberries, washed and dried
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 tsp almond extract (or vanilla extract, if preferred)
1 cup powdered sugar
Fresh blueberries
Instructions:
Prepare the Strawberries:
Rinse the strawberries and pat them dry with a paper towel.
Trim off the green tops to create a flat base for each strawberry.
Make the Cheesecake Filling:
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, almond extract, and powdered sugar.
Stir well until smooth and creamy.
Prepare the Strawberries for Stuffing:
Cut a small "X" into the pointed end of each strawberry, being careful not to cut all the way through.
Pipe the Cheesecake Filling:
Fill a piping bag or a zip-lock bag with the cheesecake filling.
If using a zip-lock bag, snip a small corner of the bag for easy piping.
Gently pipe the filling into the center of each strawberry's "X."
Top and Serve:
Top each stuffed strawberry with a fresh blueberry.
Serve and enjoy!
