  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 2 cans (12.4 ounces each) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
 

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Pour the melted butter into a 9x13-inch heat-resistant glass baking dish.
  2. Prepare the Cinnamon Rolls:
    • Cut each cinnamon roll into 8 pieces.
    • Spread the pieces evenly over the bottom of the prepared dish.
    • Set aside the icing that comes with the rolls.
  3. Make the Egg Mixture:
    • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, cinnamon, and vanilla until smooth.
    • Pour this mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces.
  4. Add Toppings:
    • Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the casserole.
    • Drizzle with maple syrup.
  5. Bake the Casserole:
    • Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 25 minutes, or until the casserole is golden brown.
  6. Cool and Drizzle:
    • Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for 15 minutes.
