Ravioli Casserole

Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 yellow onion, diced
26 oz jar of pasta sauce
25 oz package of frozen cheese ravioli
1 ½ to 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Lightly coat a 9x13 or 11x7-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
Cook the Beef:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned and crumbled.
Drain any excess grease.
Prepare the Baking Dish:
Spread 1 cup of pasta sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Layer the Ingredients:
Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce.
Add half of the beef mixture, then top with half of the shredded mozzarella cheese.
Repeat the layers: another cup of pasta sauce, the rest of the ravioli, the remaining beef, and finish with the remaining cheese.
Bake Covered:
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Bake Uncovered:
After 30 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, until the sauce is bubbly and the cheese is melted.
