Ingredients:

For the Crust:
  • 1/2 cup salted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
For the Toppings:
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt (optional)

 

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper and spray it with non-stick cooking spray. Set it aside.
  2. Prepare the Crust:
    • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter with the graham cracker crumbs, stirring until evenly moistened.
    • Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan, using the back of a measuring cup to press it down firmly.
  3. Layer the Toppings:
    • Evenly layer the chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, coconut, and chopped pecans on top of the crust.
    • Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the toppings, spreading it out with a spoon or butter knife if needed.
    • Optionally, sprinkle the top with sea salt.
  4. Bake:
    • Bake for 25 minutes, or until the bars have set and the edges are slightly browned.
  5. Cool and Cut:
    • Let the bars cool completely before cutting them into 20 squares.
  6. Serve:
    • Store and serve at room temperature.

 

Notes:

  • Feel free to get creative with the toppings! You can swap in white chocolate chips, macadamia nuts, dark chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, peanuts, almonds, walnuts, chopped Oreos, or mini marshmallows for a fun twist.
