Tender, juicy steak bites cooked to perfection in a rich garlic butter sauce—this quick and easy recipe is perfect for weeknights or casual get-togethers. Ready in just 15 minutes!
1½ lbs sirloin steak (cut into bite-sized pieces; strip loin, tenderloin, ribeye also work)
½ tsp salt (or to taste)
½ tsp black pepper (or to taste)
2 tbsp unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
¼ tsp red pepper flakes
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
Heat the Skillet: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over high heat until hot.
Sear the Steak: Add the steak pieces to the skillet in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper. Let them cook undisturbed for 2 minutes to develop a nice sear, then stir and cook another 2 minutes until golden brown. Work in batches if needed to avoid crowding the pan.
Make Garlic Butter: Transfer the cooked steak to a plate. Lower the heat to medium, add the butter to the same skillet, and let it melt. Stir in the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant and slightly browned.
Combine & Serve: Pour the garlic butter over the steak bites, toss to coat, and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
Tips:
Pat steak dry with paper towels before cooking for a better sear.
Always preheat the skillet well before adding steak.
Don’t overcrowd the pan—cook in batches for best results.
Let steak bites rest a few minutes before serving to retain juices.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently.
