Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup dill pickles, diced
  • ½ cup celery, diced
  • ¼ cup red onion, finely diced
  • ¼ cup green onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tsp dried dill)
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp dill pickle juice (from the jar)
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the chicken, dill pickles, celery, red onion, green onion, and dill.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, pickle juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the dressing over the chicken mixture and toss until evenly coated.
  • Enjoy immediately, or for best flavor, cover and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.

Notes

Optional Variations
  • Substitute Greek yogurt for part or all of the mayonnaise and sour cream for a lighter option.
  • Adjust the onion ratio to taste by using any combination of red and green onions (totaling ¼ cup).
