Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray

 

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  2. Make the Coating: In a shallow bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Coat the Chicken: Lightly spray the chicken breasts with olive oil to help the coating stick. Dredge each piece of chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the coating.
  4. Air Fry the Chicken: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Arrange the coated chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the crust is golden and crispy.
  5. Serve: Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your crispy, Parmesan-crusted chicken with your favorite side dish!  
Tip:
For an extra crispy crust, you can lightly spray the chicken with olive oil halfway through the cooking process.
