1. Can I prepare the salad ahead of time?
Yes! You can make the salad a few hours before serving and refrigerate it. This gives the flavors time to meld while keeping the veggies crisp and refreshing.

2. How long does the salad stay fresh in the fridge?
The salad will stay fresh for 2–3 days. However, for the best crunch and flavor, it’s ideal to enjoy it within 1–2 days, as the cucumbers may soften the longer they sit in the dressing.

3. Can I use a different type of cucumber?
English cucumbers are ideal—they have thin skin and minimal seeds, so there’s no need to peel or deseed them. Persian cucumbers are another great option for a crisp, mini-sized bite.

4. What type of tomatoes are best for this salad?
Cherry or heirloom tomatoes are great choices. Their natural sweetness and juiciness enhance the overall flavor of the salad, especially when ripe and in season.

5. Can I add other vegetables or ingredients to the salad?
Absolutely! Try red onions, bell peppers, kalamata olives, or even crumbled feta. Just remember that stronger flavors like onion can dominate, so adjust the quantity to suit your taste.
