1. Do I need to preheat my air fryer before cooking the potatoes?
Preheating isn’t necessary for baked potatoes. Air fryers heat up rapidly, so you can place the potatoes in without preheating.

2. Should I wrap the potatoes in foil before air frying?
No, wrapping potatoes in foil can result in soggy skin. For crispy skin, air fry them unwrapped.

3. Is it necessary to pierce the potatoes before cooking?
Yes, piercing the potatoes allows steam to escape, preventing them from bursting and ensuring a fluffier interior.

4. How can I achieve extra crispy potato skins?
Rubbing the potatoes with oil before air frying helps the skin become pleasantly crisp rather than tough.

5. Can I reduce the cooking time by microwaving the potatoes first?
Yes, microwaving the potatoes for about 5 minutes before air frying can reduce the overall cooking time while still achieving a crispy exterior.
